Frontman is a source-available AI coding agent with browser tools that see your live DOM and understand your running application. Local framework integrations edit your source code, while a hosted or self-hosted server orchestrates the agent and persists task history. We built it because every other AI coding tool was blind to the UI.

Source-available from day one
Frontman's browser client and JavaScript framework integrations are open source under Apache-2.0, and the WordPress plugin is GPL-2.0-or-later. Frontman Server is AGPL-3.0-only with AI Supplementary Terms restricting AI training and AI-assisted competitive reproduction, making the combined product source-available. You can inspect the code and prompts; relevant context may pass through the server to your selected LLM provider. Contributions are welcome.
We also contribute a portion of revenue to carbon removal through Stripe Climate as part of our climate pledge.
